Marnie Hartman

Marnie Hartman is a doctor of physical therapy, a death doula, a certified strength and condition specialist, and a registered yoga instructor with nearly 500 hours of training. With over 20 years of experience, Marnie brings a deep understanding of the body-mind connection and how movement and mindfulness can transform our perceptions and thus our relationships with suffering and mortality. In the clinic, gym, yoga studio, or on retreat she holds a space for all individuals to face fears and impediments with acceptance and inclusion. She provides compassionate care and practical techniques for thriving in the presence of an impermanent life.

She is the co-author of Pain Science – Yoga – Life: Bridging neuroscience and yoga for pain care. Intended for medical practitioners and yoga instructors, this book examines the science of pain and how yoga can be utilized in pain care.
